Good morning!
Welcome to another edition of The Matt Viera Newsletter.
The newsletter with the goal to inspire you to explore this beautiful world of ours
I spent this past weekend in my RV.
What a difference two weeks make.
I didn’t have to deal with 15 inches of snow.
The temperature was closer to 70°F than it was to zero.
And when I packed up to go home, there was still light out.
After 6 p.m.
What’s the Point of All This?
As I mentioned in last week's newsletter, I'm experimenting with the format.
I want to make this newsletter easier for me to write.
But more importantly, worth your time to open and read.
My goal is to share interesting things I come across along the way in my journey through life, e.g., books, movies, articles, travel destinations, etc.
Something I believe you’ll benefit from in some way, shape, or form.
And things I know my past self would have appreciated and benefited from.
So this will be the new format moving forward.
I may still publish a longer piece from time to time, but for now, this is it.
If you have any suggestions, I am all ears.
As I am still trying to figure it out, please make allowances.
This is a work in progress.
A TV Show Worth Watching
One of the ways I find balance in my life is by watching a movie or TV show about the military.
As a U.S. Army veteran, it is a world I completely understand and appreciate.
Recently, I came across a show so good that I watched it twice within a month.
That show is Masters of the Air, currently streaming on Apple TV+.
It’s one of the best military shows I’ve watched since Band of Brothers and The Pacific.
Check out the trailer for the show here.
A Moment Worth Remembering

Quote that caught my attention…
“Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.”
—Hector Berlioz
