Quick Update

Just a quick update: This newsletter will be published on Tuesday mornings beginning August 1, 2023.

I will not be publishing this newsletter on July 28, 2023.

The reason for the change in the publishing schedule is that I’m trying to improve my personal productivity by attempting to manage my time more effectively.

In my career, I have systems and routines in place that help me complete my professional responsibilities effectively and, for the most part, above and beyond what is expected of me in my role.

Outside of work, not so much.

Like most people, it’s easy to get waylaid but any number of a multitude of distractions.

How does this affect the newsletter?

Well, I tend to draft a copy of the newsletter on a Wednesday or Thursday before proofing and editing it early Friday morning before scheduling it to be published.

Moving forward, I plan to curate ideas and information during the week, then draft the newsletter on Saturday mornings, proofing and editing on Sundays, and schedule it for a fresh Tuesday morning delivery to your inbox at 7:00am.

Monday is a buffer for any final thoughts or edits.

This system will allow me to (hopefully) improve the overall quality of the newsletter (by managing my time more effectively).

As you trusted me in subscribing to this newsletter, the least I can do is try to improve its overall quality.

I’ll end by saying I’m still in Vienna until this coming Monday when we travel to Budapest.
