To spend an entire month (or more) exploring

The summer is (unofficially) over.
I don't know about you, but I am just as bummed now as I used to get when I was a kid when the summer ended.
And I am a little bummed that I didn't travel this summer.
It's a bit embarrassing to admit, especially since I am all about investing in life experiences (but, there's an excellent reason why I didn't travel that will be revealed in due time).
But I did get off-grid several times this summer.
In addition, I saved plenty of money by not traveling.
The plan is to make up for the lack of traveling this summer by upping my travel experience for most of July and August of 2025.
But this is not about my travel plans.
It’s about you and your potential travel plans for next summer.
Just because summer is over doesn't mean you can't start planning your travel adventures for next summer.
Starting the planning process now will give you something to work towards and look forward to as you commute to and from work during the winter months.
So, where should you consider traveling to next summer?
That's where the X (formerly Twitter) community comes in.
One thing I like to do is ask travel-related questions of the X community and curate the answers for a "Top 10" or "Top 15" list.
Not too long ago, I asked the X community:
"What's one destination you've traveled to in the past that you'd love to spend an entire month (or more) exploring?"
Over 650 people answered (with plenty of unique answers).
If you need some destination ideas for your 2025 summer travel plans, here are the Top 15 destinations (plus one surprise destination) the X community shared (from 15th to 1st):

The top 15 Destinations (plus one surprise destination) the X community shared they would love to spend an entire month (or more) exploring.
I hope this list inspires you to decide and start planning your travel adventures for next summer.
As I mentioned earlier, next summer is right around the corner.
Make a decision and start planning.
A little planning now will go a long way.
Quote that caught my attention:
"The hardest part is deciding. Because until you decide, most people can't plan. As soon as you say, 'I'm going to buy this ticket' — once you make that decision then all of a sudden it's pulled out of the realm of hopeful thinking and it goes into tactical mode."
